Naked Pairs

When you see a naked pair, it is safe to eliminate those two numbers from all other cells in the row, column, or areas the pair exist in.
A naked pair is two duplicate candidates in a particular row, column, or region. This mixture of candidates will come about often also. Please see example to your right

A Sudoku worksheet is a great way for a person to try and weed their way through the process of solving the more difficult of puzzles. One way you can try to solve the puzzle is by writing in suspected numbers in pencil and once confirmed that the number is right for the grid, you can overwrite it in darker ink.
